"I survived an extremely violent childhood so I wrestle with a lot of demons. I believe smoking marijuana, along with journaling, physical activity that takes me into the woods, meditation, and periodic therapy, allows me to shift my perception so that I can lighten my spiritual and emotional load. Marijuana isn't for everyone, but I think many others could benefit from that shift in perception and the ability to relax and look at life just a bit differently."
"Smoking a joint after a hard week at work is really no different than pouring scotch over ice. It should be under the same regulations. Prohibition is a costly, brutal enterprise that affects the rights and privileges of intelligent, decent human beings. Enough is enough."
